Introducing POP GARDEN and BIJOUX the new fabric line from Heather Bailey. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this line. I wanted to order every single colorway. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. I can't wait until they arrive. Her Freshcut line was very popular and i think you all are going to love this one just as much. They are scheduled to come out the end of July...so soon!!! Yippee...i got all my orders cut and packaged early yesterday so Sophia, Ty and i went for a little walk. I have been really wanting to lately but have been so busy! We went down by the lakewalk and stopped to enjoy the rose garden. We saw a train, and some local wildlife..she wasn't too interested! I hope you all find time to enjoy your summer days they don't last long.

I just listed these beautiful fabrics today! I was so excited for this new line from Erin McMorris! Don't they just scream...summer!!! The colors are really fabulous, and so fun! These minis were created by Blue Stitch books on etsy! How adorable! A creative way to keep needful things such as band-aids! I like the little button pull detail. A great place to keep anything small from getting lost in the bottom of the purse!
I have always dreamed of having my very own garden. It seems romantic to plant some seeds and tend to them. How wonderful to have fresh veggies that you watched grow. And how rewarding to harvest your side dishes! My favorite are the snap peas and the beans! Those garden carrots don't even compare to the store bought variety. Well i can dream all i want but i don't think i will have a real garden anytime soon. I don't think my landlord would take too kindly to me tilling up the front yard. Then again maybe he wouldn't mind, he would have to mow the lawn less. Maybe i should ask!
I do have my own little garden this year. Christy gave me this Basil in a Bag from Crate and Barrell for my birthday! It is growing amazingly fast. So i guess i will have to rely on the produce section for my fresh veggies this year However i can look forward to some amazing spaghetti sauce! Or maybe something else...any suggestions?
Little sweet pea is already one month old. That month went by so fast. I feel like i just brought her home from the hospital yesterday!

1 week old!!! She loves being swaddled. I made a few blankets for her. Just a yard of each fabric sewn together...really simple! This one is Amy Butlers Geisha Fans. It is my favorite fabric in the shoppe.
I turned the big 3-0 today! I thought I would not enjoy when this day came. But i don't mind. I feel so blessed to have a beautiful little girl and wonderful husband. The day was like any other...except i got a lot of facebook love and lots of calls from friends! I am excited for what the next thirty years hold!
A few favs this week from flickr. Can you tell what is on my mind? At our appt on monday the dr says we may have some time yet because i haven't progressed any. But she won't let us go more than a week past our due date! So if nothing happens then we will be induced by the 30th. I am a bit miserable, i can't really move at all towards the end of the day! I hope it doesn't go quite that long and we get to meet our little one soon!
